Wanzek attended RE+ 2022 in Anaheim, California this year and held meetings with current clients and vendors, along with meeting with new clients and vendors on the expo hall floor.

“The client meetings focused on further developing our partnerships, as well as forging new ones with companies that we have yet to do business with,” said Troy Ochoa, Senior Vice President (SVP) of Solar. “Wanzek came away from these meetings with a very optimistic outlook for the future!”

Over 27,000 people from the United States and around the world attended the conference this year. This was a record-breaking attendance for RE+. Wanzek sent 27 representatives to the conference including MasTec Clean Energy & Infrastructure Group President Mark Bader-Helstrom and MasTec Market Intelligence Principal Brian Balkus. Wanzek Executive Vice President Mike Russell, SVP of Solar Troy Ochoa, SVP of Wind Matt Tetrault, SVP of Commercial and Risk Neal Detert and VP of Procurement and Engineering Andy Hayes were also in attendance.

“RE+ was a huge opportunity for Team Wanzek, especially because it was the first conference for renewable energy since the passing of Inflation Reduction Act (IRA). Special thanks to the Solar Team who had the lead in organizing everything for the event. It all went perfectly,” said Matt Tetrault, SVP of Wind.
