Wanzek offers an apprenticeship program that is both registered with the Department of Labor and accredited by the National Center for Construction Education & Research (NCCER). This is a two-year program offered to the Wanzek Renewables team.
The Construction Craft Laborer (CCL) Apprenticeship Program will help Wanzek laborers advance in their careers and grow in their knowledge base. Upon completion, apprentices will have earned the industry equivalent of an Associate degree. Each apprentice is matched with a Wanzek journey-level mentor who they will meet with regularly to provide coaching and support.
“The apprenticeship program here at Wanzek is special because of the team we have implementing and supporting it,” said Kendra Bailey, Manager of the Apprenticeship Program. “With the field experts helping train the trainees, you can feel the pride behind what we are accomplishing with each group. Wanzek is proud that we are at the forefront of this initiative and continuing to invest in our greatest assets, our people.”
