Azure Sky

The Azure Sky Wind Project is nearing completion with a combination of two OEMs and three different turbine types, including two different Vestas towers (totaling 14 towers) and the remaining 65 turbines from Nordex. The project was developed and engineered by Wanzek’s client, with procurement and construction of string roads, foundations and turbine erection provided by Wanzek. Azure Sky also includes battery storage at the substation which the Wanzek Renewable Services team completed foundation work on. The client is looking for the entire project to be up and running early in 2022.
