The Charlie Creek Solar Project is located within the heart of Florida in Hardee County on what was previously orange groves and cattle pastures. The project is comprised of 229,600 modules and spans 650 acres. When complete, the project will output 74.9MWac/98.3MWdc of power for our client. Hardee County is home to a diverse ecosystem that keeps our site management on their toes including visits from an apiary to remove bee swarms, subcontracting Terracon to explore burrowing owl holes for activity and safely removing an alligator from site.

The workforce on this site includes a heavy local community along with team members from Minnesota, California, Texas and the surrounding areas. The Charlie Creek Solar team stands ready to face future challenges.
