The Dakota Range III Wind Farm was completed utilizing over 78,000 labor hours, zero reworks and a satisfied client all while working through a pandemic. This project is located just west of Summit, South Dakota in Grant and Roberts Counties. The client worked with landowners to lease 19,000 acres of agricultural land. Dakota Range III consists of 32 Nordex 4.8 MW turbines, which reached a hub height of 108 meters, producing 150 MW of power.
