Goldwind 3S Prototype

Wanzek Construction, Inc. was hired to construct one of the tallest wind turbine in the United States. Goldwind 3S Prototype is a 3.57 MW turbine with 130-meter hub height (which includes seven tower sections) and a rotor diameter of 138 meters. Construction included roadway, foundation, collection, turbine offload, turbine installation, mechanical completion and energization of the prototype.
