The Iron Star Wind Project was completed with over 350,000 labor hours, zero reworks and a satisfied client. This project is located five miles south of Dodge City, Kansas. The Iron Star site is surrounded by 100% agricultural fields and the client worked with landowners to lease the 35,000 acres of agricultural land needed to construct the project. Iron Star consists of 62 Nordex 4.8 MW turbines, which reach a hub height of 108 meters, producing 300 MW of power.
