The Jumbo Hill Wind Farm was completed with over 135,000 labor hours, zero reworks and a satisfied client out in the middle of the Permian Basin. This project is located on the border of Texas/New Mexico in Andrews County. The site is surrounded by large ranch holdings and active oil/gas drilling associated with the Permian Basin. The client worked with landowners to lease the 26,000 acres of agricultural land needed to construct the project. Jumbo Hill consists of 57 GE 2.82 MW turbines, which reached a hub height of 89 meters, producing 160 MW of power.
