Los Vientos 1A consists of 87 Siemens 2.3 MW wind turbines and Los Vientos 1B consists of 84 MHI 2.4 MW wind turbines. The electricity produced will be purchased by CPS Energy under a 25-year fixed price Power Purchase Agreement. Located in Willacy and Cameron Counties, Texas, both projects will provide enough electricity for more than 100,000 households.
