The Merricourt Wind Project was completed on schedule despite numerous challenges with record rain falls, extremely wet ground conditions and keeping employees/the local community safe during a global pandemic. Strategic partnerships Wanzek has with clients ensured that this critical project, consisting of 75 Vestas 2.0 MW turbines, was also completed with safety and quality at the forefront. This project was transferred to Otter Tail Power Company out of Fergus Falls, Minnesota. Merricourt is the largest capital investment for Otter Tail Power and a major milestone for them in achieving their goal of 35% renewable energy by 2023

- 75 Vestas V110 2.0 MW, 80-meter hub height WTGs
- Offload and installation of wind turbines
- 5-acre O&M permanent yard with O&M facility
- 8-acre temp laydown yard and batch plant
- 127,600 LF of access roads
- 222,000 LF of collection cables
- 75 spread footing foundations
