Persimmon Creek is a 198.6 MW wind power project located near Vici, Oklahoma on approximately 17,000 acres of ranch and farmland. Wanzek and its subcontractors worked in excess of 290,000 labor hours and successfully completed the project on time; despite dealing with forced evacuations due to the Rhea Megafire that scorched over 400,000 acres of land in western Oklahoma during the spring of 2018.
